In October ’09 I created a Twitter account solely for the purpose of tweeting Seinfeld-quotes: @seinlanguage. I try to post a quote from this legendary comedy show, that ran from 1990 to 1998, once each day.
After about a month I had 100 followers, in april ’11 they had grown to 10.000 and in august ’12, almost three years after I started it, there were 50.000. By 2017, there were more than 180.000. Each tweet gets retweeted a couple hundred times, with a few of them going beyond a thousand.
Of course that’s due to the brilliance of the show, but I feel kind of proud of it nonetheless.
